Blog Trip Day 1: Welcome

Hi! Welcome to my humble abode the Official Chosen Fate: Motherhood. Thank you for considering my place as your pit stop at the moment. My name is Mai and I hail from Makati City, Philippines. Let me first show you where I'm blogging from before I go on and further share a few things about me. Makati City is one of the cities that comprise Metro Manila, the greater metropolitan area of the national capital of the Philippines. This is where many global companies hold office and headquarters at so this is commonly referred to as the Financial Capital of the Philippines. More about Makati City here.

I am in my late 20's, a doting Stay-at-Home Mom to my little baby boy, Asher Malik, who's turning 6 months tomorrow (happy 6th month b-day sweetie!). I have been married to my bestfriend and soulmate, Paul, for more than 2 years now. My husband and I fervently wished for our little bundle of joy since the day we got married. With our undying faith and hope, we waited for the right time and God heed our prayer just this year with the birth of our son. And so when motherhood became me, I had a paradigm shift and my priorities totally changed. I put my career into the back seat for the mean time to take care of my baby as I want to be with him in the first critical 12 months of his life and see all his "firsts". As my tag line goes, I make milk and that's my super power. I have deeply committed myself that I'll breastfeed my son for as long as I can or as my supply is willing. That's how dedicated I am and how I believe in the hollistic uses and other good that my son will benefit from breastmilk.
Aside from Mommy duties that keep me occupied throughout the day, my passion includes blogging and digital scrapbooking. I maintain 3 other blogs aside from this Mommy Blog. So should you wish to know more about me, my musings can also be found in the following: Swept Away, The Scrapaholic Me and Love. Happiness. Us.
So that's it for the first day of our Blog Trip. Again, thanks for stopping by. Be sure to hop on over daily as I'll be having a random paypal giveaway one of these days for a Blog Trip participant who'll leave comments. As to when, that I wouldn't disclose so you really have to drop by until the Blog Train ends on the 5th. So if you're up to it, be sure to join us in the Blog Trip hosted by Mommy Community.
