The First Meet With A Mascot.

Happy Monday everyone! It's a brand new month, a brand new week and before we start it off, let me share how my little one's weekend went. Actually, it's just quite the usual except for a birthday party that the little one attended last Saturday noon. It's Mary Caitlin's (a former colleague's daughter) first birthday and was held at Pizza Hut Bistro in Libis Thank heavens, the heavy rains stopped otherwise, we could have cancelled the plan. The rains caused traffic along Commonwealth Avenue so we were a tad late in the party. The kids were already having some parlor games but it's just okay since the little one's still too young and small to join anyway. We just chatted with my former colleagues, Bel and Joy who were so enamored as they cooed over my little one. Asher was all smiles and was so in the mood that he didn't mind being simultaneously passed and carried by them. And yes, it's Asher's first time to see a mascot. Surprisingly, he didn't cry at the sight of Pizza Pooch. He even touched the furry mascot without any hesitation or fear. Hope he continues to be fearless of such so he'd enjoy all the parties he'll attend in the months and years to come.
