"Where, Asher?"

I can't believe that Asher already passed the infancy stage when he does nothing but sleep, feed, poo and pee. Now, nearing the 8th month mark, he has achieved several milestones - not just the expected development over months in a baby but mentally, he's forming and thriving very well.

Mention the word "Mommy"..he'd search the whole room and stare at me when he sees me.

Mention the word "Daddy"..he'd look at his Dad. He may even repeat the word when you emphasize it over and over.

When we're in our living room, ask him where his red balloon is, he'll turn his head and lands his eyes on the now deflating red balloon that was given to him by a neighbor who just had a birthday party.

And if you ask, where are the butterflies, he'd gamely look up and fix his eyes to the ornamental dangling butterflies we have in the living room. These are the same butterflies that became his "first comfort toy" and made him occupied when he was just about a few months old. This time he can already associate the word "butterflies" with them.

Probably if we're to buy him rc helicopters and toys that remotely fly or dangle up in the air, although he won't still be able to control, I'm sure he'd still find it amusing.

These are just a few tricks that he has learned onset his 8th month. I wonder what's his next amusing trick will be.
