Mean Mommy.

Spanking your child when you're angry is being selfish, because you'd just be using the spanking to vent your anger, and not really to discipline the child.

Mec couldn't have said it any better on her blog post about how she struggles controlling his anger in disciplining his son. And how I wish, "someone" dear to me gets to know this line, internalize and realize how selfish, insensible and insensitive she has become to his son every time she hits him ferociously.

amen mai. but i have to admit i'm guilty here. it's really hard being a parent.

wait till asher turns 2 :D not that being terrible is an excuse to spank them. what i'm saying is SOMETIMES (and i'm stressing this out) we're only human.
