MM: Special Day.

This week's theme at Mommy Moments is Special Day. So for this theme, I'm sharing Asher's Christening picture.

The is his baptism picture taken on April 19, 2008..the day he was welcomed to the Christian world. As you can see, he was still so little and fragile because he was only 1 and half month old here. We had him christened the soonest because we wanted him to embrace God's grace the earliest. Hubby and I were baptized early too..I was just 3 weeks old then. His Christening day was indeed special because aside from being officially welcomed to the Christian world, a lot of relatives and friends celebrated with us..affirming that Asher is very well loved. He was baptized at National Shrine of Sacred Heart and we had our sumptuous feasting at Cabalen Glorietta. He was showered with lots of gifts including a Bob stroller from his grandfather. Unfortunately, his Lolo wasn't able to celebrate it with us because he just flew back to Saudi on Asher's birthdate.
