Four Million Floats Recalled.

Summer may be over in our country and swimming months may be far still but you might want to pull out your kids' floats from the closet and check if they are one of these four million flotation devices that have been recalled. These were manufactured by Aqua-Leisure, a Chinese enterprise. Many of the popular water items made by this company are sold for between $8 - $15 at national retailers like Toys R Us, Kmart, Target and Walgreens. So far, no serious injuries or fatalities have been reported but a number of leg straps tearing incidents where child falls into or under the water posing a risk for drowning were filed. What to do if you have one of these floaters? Discontinue use and contact the company for a refund. They can be contacted toll-free at (866) 807-3998 between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. ET Monday through Friday or visit the firm’s Web site at www.aqualeisure.com.
