Cancer's A Bitch.

I'm writing this post with a heavy heart. I've just hopped from the great make up artist, Jasmine Mendiola's blog and I can't help but dab a tear away as I finished reading her recent entries regarding how her son, Mio, has been doing as he fights the big C at a tender age of 5. He has just been diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia or ALL and even if you're not a Mom, hearing such news is really heartbreaking. Quoting her, "Cancer’s a bitch. It’s worse than dysmennorhea, worse than labor contractions, worse than any break up, pre-breakup meditated, any heartache and any disappointment mankind has known." We might not perfectly feel her as she writes this but we certainly are convinced that the pain it causes is beyond imaginable that words can describe. Whatever type it may be: pancreatic, which caused recent Patrick Swayze's demise, liver, brain or Mesothelioma (by the way, there are Mesothelioma lawyers out there who specializes in such law cases for asbestos manufacturers and employees)..the fact is, Cancer can eat you and your loved ones up alive.

I pray and wish Mio well that may he be strengthened to endure all these with a light and happy heart. May he and his mom find "Santino" in the people surrounding them that they may be appeased and comforted amidst these unformidable pain they're going through right now.
