Dr. Asher Malik, Ph.D.

Image0253.jpg

In support with Asher's early interest in joining the Pre-School classes, here's the backpack that we bought him. It contains his mini-sketch pad on which he doodles and his jumbo crayons, the box of which has been severely mangled already because he loves emptying it then putting it back one by one. It's just funny how he's deeply fascinated with schooling because the moment he hears the school bell rings at 8 AM, he looks for this backpack and his green Elmo cap even though he hasn't taken a bath yet and he's still in his jammies.

He also recognizes and acknowledges the teachers..whom he calls "cher". Sometimes when he's being hard headed like he refuses to do something we ask him, it's the word "teacher" that can pacify him. Even on weekend mornings, he taps his chest as if he's asking for Flag Ceremony.

Give him a pen or watch him doodle, observe how he can expertly hold now those writing instruments..not, just a "grasp" style but these are really positioned/slanted by the middle finger. We're really amazed by his dexterity.

I'm really glad that he has this early keen interest with schooling. I hope that he grows up that way until his college or even up to graduate or doctorate studies. By that time perhaps, online degrees will pave way for much easier and hopefully less inexpensive schooling. For as long as we can, we will certainly support him all the way.

Wouldn't this be nice to hear: Dr. Asher Malik, Ph.D. ?
