Letter To Asher 09.09.09 (Bed Weather)

Dearest Asher,

Here's a picture of you I took at about 11:00 this morning. Heavy rains pounded for two hours and the weather outside was so gloomy making it a perfect bed weather morning. Mommy was so tempted to crawl and curl up with you under the sheets but I have to stay awake and work. Otherwise, I'll have an unproductive day that might last throughout the day.

It's now 3:41 pm and you're currently having your afternoon nap. But contrary to the weather this morning, Mr. Sun is now peeping behind the clouds. Perhaps he might have heard us singing earlier:

Oh Mr. Sun. Sun. Mr. Golden Sun.
Please shine down on me.

Which reminds me, I am yet to look further for your missing Barney DVD. You suddenly remembered Barney and you wanted to watch the DVD when I sang "I love you, you love me..we're a happy family..." the other day. I was supposed to let you watch but alas, I couldn't find it. It must just be in one of the CD cases here. Daddy promised that he'll buy you another one should Mommy fail to find it.

Meanwhile, we can continue singing the Mr. Sun song later so he can get on shining to dry up the road. I know you've been yearning to play outside for days already.
