Online Students' Advantage.

It has just been announced by the Department of Education that there will be no classes in all levels tomorrow and for Elementary and High School levels on Tuesday still in connection with the Typhoon Ondoy's clearing operations. Since the school year started, the school year calendar has been badly affected with all these unfortunate circumstances (AH1N1 outbreak, typhoons and floods). The kids may be enjoying these short holidays but the DepEd has mandated that school officials should adjust schedules and they must make up for these suspended classes. It is in these times when the advantages of enrolling in an online university are greatly appreciated through which you can attend classes for as long as you're connected to the web without leaving your house.

Speaking of online universities, I heard that Capella University just released their latest Inside Online Education podcast featuring their faculty chair for reading/literacy discussing Capella’s status as the only online university offering a master’s degree program with a state-approved specialization in reading and literacy. Go ahead and check it out.
