Si "Aw-aw"

Image0501.jpg

Dearest Asherito,

How I wish I was able to capture in video your delight and how your eyes sparkled the moment you met "Aw-aw". He was actually a Christmas gift from Tita Ivy's sons Kuya Matthew and Jervy. You surely did appreciate all other toys and clothes you received but Aw-aw captivated your heart most dearly on the eve of Christmas. You were so enamored and mesmerized watching him bark, and even seemingly run after him as he moved. In fact, the very proof of you "overusing" him instantly is that you got his back leg "injured" just about a few minutes after you unwrapped him. More minutes later, its spring and the non insulated terminals in the section where batteries are put have gone disarrayed. You were so impatient while Daddy tried to fix him and put everything back in order again.

It's really such a great sight seeing you so delighted every time you turn him on...and if you could only hear your own voice..your "wow!" was truly divine. All the more now that I believe Christmas is really for the little children.

It may sound so corny or too simple but I don't mind calling your stuffed dog "Aw-aw". After all, it was you who named him that way...since of course, you know that a dog barks the "aw-aw" way. Too bad, we can't let you play with him anymore. Aside from the fact that the batteries and spring's worn out, stuffed toys are now off limits to you because it may trigger your asthma.
